Event Details

For many months citizens and city staff have been planning a year-long celebration for Charlottesville's 250th Anniversary of the city's founding in 1762. Many great community events have already taken place, from street festivals to exhibits. As part of a weekend-long series of events, the city will hold a Grand Gala at the John Paul Jones Arena. It will be a night that highlights the talents and diversity of the community!

Special Event Information

Gala Tickets for a special community pre-concert reception honoring dignitaries and sponsors of the celebration will be available.
